The Carol Burnett Show on CBS was amazing and exciting!...
The Jimmy Rodgers Show on CBS! Every outfit we wore, by Bob Mackie, famous designer, was red, white, and blue.
Bellbottoms the first time around...

We played all over Ohio...they loved us and we loved them!
Life-sized posters of Jan and me were everywhere! There were full-page ads in Time, Life, Playboy, and Newsweek and our commercials played constantly... We were so busy we never saw anything....
Fun commercials! Loved the outfits...
The Playboy Hotel in Miami was wild in more ways than one---we almost killed the audience when the piano fell off the stage (see the book, "Which One Are You?")
Rave reviews from top nightclubs in Ohio and THE top nightclub in the US, the Persian Room at the Plaza Hotel, NYC!
Seven of us at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas...
Great time in Washington, DC where we performed on the lawn at the Washington Momument for thousands...unforgettable!

Trying not to sweat in the heat as we film "Discover Wet" for NBC w/Ed McMahon at Cypress Gardens in Tampa.
Shamu the Killer Whale especially enjoyed our "Seafood Medley" at Cypress Gardens

Boyd Clopton, the famous designer, did these Burgundy costumes. His drawings are in LACMA.
Our parents, Dr. Herb and Eudora Bunker, backstage at the Schubert Theater in LA where we performed with Johnny Mathis. So happy and grateful they got to see us all over the country, What a thrill for us too!

The 1974 Burgundy Street Singers with new additions Rich Wenzel, Gary Ferguson, Billy Watts, and Mike McCarty. You have to listen to the Live rendition of the Beatles Medley (on this website under Music) w/the 5-minute standing ovation at the end. The new guys were great!
These records were the reason we left the Burgundies---Russ Regan, who signed big stars like Elton John, signed us and expected us to be big stars too. Exciting times!

We were now Jan and Jill, and we got to sing solos, talk onstage, and write our own songs. This was very different from the Burgundies, and we loved it!
Mike Curb, head of Curb Records, Russ Regan, 20th Century Records President, Jill, and Jim Fitsgerald, our manager. Exciting times!
Ed McMahon was our partner in crime--what a sweetheart! We made many commercials with him and several TV specials.
Those Budweiser outfits are right in style now!

Canadian TV show we guested on three times--excellent live band and wonderful audience!
Our Vegas act with the Sisters Medley...
Frankie Avalon, the ultimate teen star, a suave and consummate pro, taught us his song live on the air!
Jan was playing a Bosendorfer, a $100,000 piano belonging to Henry Mancini they trucked in for him to play the week before. Jan loved playing it! We did "Emotion", our big exciting ballad. A very memorable moment!

Our name in lights and a standing ovation--it doesn't get any better!!
Hometown newspaper was excited we were appearing on Happy Days!
Talk about a dream come true that you never thought would happen! Dick Clark was a great guy too--glad we have this on video...
Suzie Quatro was adorable, gutsy, and cool, which is why she was on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.
This is from the Happy Days episode "Marion's Dream", where Howard is chased by the blonde lovelies in her dream.
Richie, (Ron Howard, future director), fakes playing a saxophone with The Suedes (us) at Arnold's in Happy Days.
Suzie and Jan and Jill ("Leather and the Suedes") on the Number One TV show in America at the time!
You saw this, right? The beginning of every Red Skelton show had us swinging a swing and Red would swing back as Heathcliff or Clem Kadiddlehopper or someone else. So much fun!
